- salice series 200 "self-opening/push to open" hinge is a hinge that contains a special "reverse" spring which enables the door to open automatically once a small amount of pressure is applied to the door- the pressure to the door activates a release device at which point the hinge takes over and opens the door completely- the release device serves to hold the door in the closed position as well as to release the door- there are two types of release devices: mechanical and magnetic - 200 series 110 and 165 degree push to open hinges have:- cup depths of only 11mm making the hinge compatible with most cabinet door profiles- hinge cup edge drilling distance of 3mm to 9mm- patented parallel side-to-side adjustment of +4.5mm to -1.5mm via hinge arm screw- available in "screw-on" with two #6 x 5/8" screws (not included) and press-in dowel cup fastening designs- series 200 hinges are designed to work with salice mounting plates
