I love the pearl/chrome look. This is number 1 over a light pink. People saying it comes out as sparkly and not pearl-like most likely aren’t buffing enough with the small sponge brushes they come with. You have to put some effort in, not just cover the nail with the powder. The photo I posted is 6 days since I’ve done them so they seem to be holding up well. I also an alcohol wipe over the no wipe top coat before putting on the powder like another reviewer said it it seems to have worked well.Here is what I did:- base coat- gel color (optional)- gel color (optional)- top coat- alcohol wipe- power + buff- brush off excess with makeup brush (over the sink)- top coatI tested the powdered as soon as they arrived! Great pigment and sheer. I tested it on a white color and they came out beautiful. I used a regular base, regular color, and an OPI top coat. Kept the effect. I saw a video on YouTube to use a water based top coat but this actually filled the sheer so the OPI top coat worked best. After a few trials, I realized just using your finger to place the powder on nails also worked better than the sponge applicators that came with the powers.These chrome powders are perfect. They come nicely packaged, each colour in its own cute container, and a little tray to organize them. The applicators are supplied as well. I tried the silvery one on sheer pink and easily got the glazed donut look. Can’t go wrong for this price.A little more green hues than I expected but it is a Beautiful pink/green iridescence that reminds me of the colors you sometimes see in shellfish. There’s still a slight glitter effect even after wiping or brushing but perhaps it is due to the brand of top coat I usedThis stuff is amazing. Super easy to use and you just need a tiny tiny amount to get the desired look. All the colors are beautiful and it’s definitely worth the price. Can’t beat itsooooo beautiful and works on regular, non-gel polish as well! did the pearl/glazed donuts/hailey bieber nails and came out gorgeous!I love these powders. I use all of them for different designs, 001 is perfect for glazed donut nails. 002 is my all time favorite, I’m almost out lol. The color powders are perfect on top of dark colors, I used a dark blue under 005 and it looks like morpho butterfly wings. Love it!!It is cute but definitely more rose gold than pearl shade
