Willliam Hertling didn't write this book to sell you this book. He wrote this book because he has been successful selling his OTHER books and everyone (including me) kept asking him how. Coming from an advertising background, I knew that Hertling was on target when it came to testing various aspects of your book marketing with Google AdWords. If you know an author is on track about some things, it gives you some confidence that he's researched the others. I love books that tell you what doesn't work as well as what does. It saves so much time and effort. His information on what time of year NOT to launch a book is worth many multiples of the book price! The best thing is, this is not a bloated book. It's pretty much what you need to know for pre-launch, launch, post-launch, and how to identify secondary markets that will help your book sales take off.
