Very long lastingThis works amazingly well. I have tried everything on myweak, split and peeling nails. In fact, for the past couple of years I have taken a daily dosage of Biotin and seen a dermatologist...but nothing seemed to work until NailKale. In just two weeks my nails have grown significantly, they are harder, and then ends that were split and peeling prior to use are growing out. I am very pleased!Helped to strengthen my weak and peeling nails. Locke it!!I had paper thin nails that peeled when someone looked at them wrong and now they can grow out and I can actually use my nails without them breaking or bending backwards.Great for the nail beds. Keeps polish from staining as bad. Nails do. It turn as yellow.I work in healthcare and after the heightened frequency of washing and gelling, my nails were dry and peeling down to the quick. This basecoat protected them immediately and with an added coat every few days, my nails grew out strong and healthy. It lasts well.Like it good enough to reorderJust ok! It gives your nails a nice shine and clearer color but it won’t harden them. Not sure if it was really nourishing my nails or not. I don’t have anything bad to say. Just don’t expect a miracle. ?‍♀️Nail Kale is the only nail polish I can use on my nails. As soon as I try anything else, they flake and split. I wish NailsInc would bring out more colours because it's superb stuff! I often wear the base coat on its own. Highly, highly recommended, especially if you have weak nails.I have psoriasis, which also affects my nails. If you’re fortunate enough not to be aware of what psoriasis does to nails, it leaves them with awful grooves and pits, prone to delaminating. A dermatology nurse told me that painting nails is a great way to disguise the damage, and a good base coat is essential. I went through so many brands from Essie to Zoya, before trying this one, and it soon became my favourite.First of all, let me point out that yes, it looks green in the bottle, but it goes on clear. Slap several coats on - it does not look green at all.As with all Nails Inc new style bottles the lid doubles as a finger rest to make application a bit steadier. Pull off the silver lid to reveal the actual bottle cap. The brush is wide which means you can put it on quite quickly, although you do lose some precision with a brush this width.I don’t know if I can honestly say my nails are in better condition as a result of this, but prior to discovering it, I was using OPI’s Nail Envy, which I think was very drying. My nails do look healthier, but it may just be because I’ve knocked the OPI out of my routine. I’d like to think it’s this product helping out!You will need a couple of coats of this to get maximum effect from it, particularly if your nails are damaged like mine. The consistency seems very thin once it’s on. I often wear it as a stand-alone, because it’s not very shiny, and I can feel quite self conscious about drawing attention to my hands if my psoriasis is bad. My main bugbear with it is that it just does not last. Put as many coats as you like on - within two days, most of it will be gone, or heavily chipped. It doesn’t have the staying power a base coat should. It chips in the expected places, at the tops and edges first of all. I suppose one blessing of it not being overly shiny is that the chipping doesn’t really notice like a coloured coat would do unless you’re up close to your nails.Overall, yes, I would recommend it. It’s cruelty free, and while it’s not the cheapest, it’s not stupidly overpriced either. I’d use it over the OPI Nail Envy any day. Just make sure you’ve got plenty of time to reapply it during the week!I have been a lifelong nail biter until recently and I this is the nicest base coat I have tried so far. It has a really nice wide brush for application and seems to have made my nails strong as well as helping my nail varnish last longer. On the negative side the brush doesn't reach all the way to the bottom though so now I am stuck with stuff left in the bottle that it is a right faff to try and get out.Was really lushous to put on your nails. I wanted to use it as a nail protector and not put a polish on top of it as I'm trying to repair my nails which have always been very dry and brittle. Sadly after a few days it drew attention to my ridges and damage and actually started to go a strange colour. Will try and use it a few more times but wouldn't recommend it. Also looked it up on my app after purchase and despite it appearing like a 'healthy' product it includes a lot of ingredients which aren't natural and are actually coroseive to the nails.I don know what I did wrong when I used this. I have very weak nails that constantly split. After using this my nails were worse than ever before. Fingers constantly hurting because the nails were splitting even more. Really disappointed as I need sonething. The search continues.
