High quality brass fitting. I was delighted to see these came with the crimp collar included, but then discovered that my normal crimp tool didn't work on them. The collar is not the same thickness as a normal steel crimp ring, so it wouldn't crimp properly. I ended up cutting the crimp collar off with a Dremel and just using the usual PEX steel crimp rings, which worked out fine.
