Great productI didn't buy this on Amazon, but I am compelled to write a review because after about 4 uses it broke. When I say it broke after 4 uses, I mean I probably mashed a total of 1 1/2 cloves of garlic with it. I am a woman with average strength and it broke right in my hand. One of metal supports on the side of the handle came off and caused the black part of the handle to break while I was using it. There is no repairing it. Too bad, it worked very nicely.Purchased this because I can no longer use a conventional crusher due to arthritis. I'm very impressed with the design, making it easy to use with first class results. Robust and well made, I will be buying more as gifts. Early delivery and well packed.Hoped it is easy to use, quick and easy to clean as well. If the garlic is fresh, relatively easy. Though if the garlic is old then you need to use massive powers to crush it. And not easy to do it all the way. Most of Kitchen tools that promise either doesn’t work or stay in the drawer. Lessons learned.You need a lot of strength to push down on the garlic to crush it and the holes just get blocked instantly so you are always having to clean it and then start again. Definitely one of my worst purchases. Sorry a thumbs down from meNot yet convinced about this, maybe it’s better with really fresh garlic but find myself having to finish off chopping by hand. It feels like it should work better than it does!My wife tried it and said will not use it again. I found it OK but serious downward pressure needs to be applied and not all the garlic will be minced.
