I have shot over 1000 staples with this thing and it has not failed me yet. I plan on shooting another 1000 or so this weekend..You MUST use the correct staples or you will be disappointed. I used quality JT21 spec " Stanley TRA204T " 1/4 6mm light duty staples. They shoot perfect, all the way sunk, and hold my thick heavy Radiant Barrier woven house wrap to the joist and rafters. I can not pull these out by hand pulling on the wrap. I am thinking the other negative reviews must be using the wrong staples. I do not recommend 3/8 staples as I have not tried them. Throw the staples that come with this in the garbage. Staples that come packaged with staplers are cheap crap no matter what the brand.
