This product looks great when you see pictures of it, then when you go to use it...it's nearly impossible to place the deck of cards, square it up, and press the plate down without shifting the cards around...it takes many tries and is very frustrating...at first the metal plate seems attatched to the screw as if you could just raise it up and down easily...but it's not...what happens is the plate just falls off the screw...so you have to somehow hold this plate above the cardd, line it up with the screw, and try to crank it down without disturbing the cards...once you manage to place the deck of cards on the bottom part, square them up, manually hold the top plate over them as you line it up with the screw, and get the screw through the hold, then as you crank it down the metal place wobbles on its way down as it gets closer to the deck of cards, once it touches the cards it continues to wobble and this moves the cards around so its just about impossible to use this thing....also the product description states this device will last you a lifetime...well mine didnt last very long...the legs of the crank that attatch to the base of the card press can pop out if you crank it down too hard and once it pops out its impossible to pop it back in...i had to throw this away...I can't believe how much I paid for this scuffed card press...wish I could have my money back... like $59 or something like that.. what a waste of money... meanwhile I have a deck of cards that need to be flattened out.buyer bewareRespectfully,JGW
