If you use nail GLUE on the artificial nail AND your own nail, then apply the artificial nail pressed right at the cuticle, and HOLD the nail for about 60 seconds .. you'll be thrilled at how beautiful your hands look. If you use the little 'sticky' things that come in the package, the nails don't adhere well, but using the nail glue (which you can find right here on Amazon), you'll have lovely nails for at least 2+ weeks. Now you can't use your new nails like "tools", but they will last and look wonderful. If they start to lift or if one comes off, use an emery board to remove the old glue, simply reapply the glue on the artificial nail and your own nail, press and hold .. and you're all set to go again!When shopping at a big box store, you pay twice the amount for a relatively small selection. When I was recommended to look on Amazon for more choices, I fell in love with this matte black with gold foil. I put in this set around 11:00 am today, and have loved seeing the difference between shine and matte throughout the day. However, less than 12 hours later, the color has began flaking off along the edges of 6 of the 10 nails. The last set of nails that I purchased at a brick and mortar store lasted well into two weeks without a problem. I won’t be buying this set again.As I said, the black matte started being scratched off the first day. The nails are silver base, with the gold tone and black matte on too of that. —Therefore if you need to trim them shorter from the start like I always do, these very clearly showed the silver on all the tips as soon as I put them on, which was not attractive. But most don't cut their stick ons.Even without trimming, the black scratched off too easily and the gold tone over the silver cuticle came off so some were silver and some still gold. (which actually should come as an option).That being said, even a bit scratched up the 2nd day I had these on I had an interview, and the interviewer complimented them as he shook my hand.So they are a really really cute design, just make them more durable!I loved these They were SO beautiful I couldnt stop looking at my hands. But they are rough not smooth. I put a clear coat over the glitter to try to help. It worked kind of. But the clear coat started to peel off after taking a shower. These would be so fab if they would have put a clear coat of durable resin to seal the glitter .The nails are a great length but the black edges of the nails chip within an hour of me just living life. Also, the underside of the nails is white. They’re cheap nails and the quality reflects that.Petite hands here! These nails are for what I assume are either large mannish hands on a woman or maybe average size? I don’t have freakishly small hands, I just have smaller nail beds maybe a half an inch from side to side? These nails were entirely too large. there seems to be more larger size than smaller size nails. I had to file them down on the sides considerably, which then changed the shape of the nail. They were however sort of sturdy, but they didn’t fit well. I used the enclosed sticky tabs as well as nail glue to keep them in place (because of the weird fit). the color was very cool tho!They are fine for the payment amount but a cheap productI got the light blue. These nails are beautiful. But they are very flimsy and don’t stay on very well. I have 3 children and don’t have time to go the nail salon so I use glue on nails quite often. I would not purchase these again because they only stayed on for about 4 days and started breaking off at the tips with in 3 days. Also they were very long on me and I had to trim them down a bit. I had no issues with trimming them, they looked very natural and filed well.
