I have a very deep ridge on each thumb due to wearing press ons for years- finally taking a break from them to heal my natural nails. Needed a product that would fill this so I could paint over without it being so noticeable, this is that product! Didn’t think it would work but after 4 coats the ridge is hardly noticeable. Just have to keep layering it on and dry completely between each coat.I can't grow my nails without this. With it, they're strong enough to resist bending and splitting. The product dries quickly, almost clear with a matte finish. Two coats of polish and a top coat all dry fairly quickly on top. Don't be tempted to use two coats, though. You don't need it and your polish will get bubbly.This product helps the strength of my nails and keeps my manicure longer.Good product, better than most, filled in ridges quite well.In this era of the virus, I had to stop my nearly 25 year "habit" of first acrylic nails and then about 10 years ago gel nails in various forms. I am 60. My nails have ridges (hereditary occurrence) and are pretty brittle. On a couple of my nails the ridges reach the end of the nail and split and tear or break. Then they snag clothes or tear and are painful. No wonder I've been covering them for so long! I have always loved my manicures, but they are not going to be a part of my life until after the virus is well under the radar. I purchased 4 different ridge filler/strengthening products - this Nail Tec #3 was one. It says "ridge filler for hard, brittle nails".PROSFirst, as a ridge filler, it works - after about 4 coats. It finishes with a matte, very slight transparent white. After about 4 coats, you nail surface looks smooth and since it's not a shiny gloss finish, they look more natural.I was really happy about how quickly each layer dried. Very fast, no assistance in drying. It stays on for several days.CONSHaven't found one yet.So far, this is definitely worth the effort and cash. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.This stuff works well to keep nails strong but it smells so strong when I’m putting it on, more than any of my other polishes. I wish this came in a toxic free or more mild formula. That said, it does the job.Only used once.Maybe I chose the wrong one, but this one does not seem to be helping my nails to quit splitting at the ends.The prospect of it being moisturising was a major draw when buying this product. Unfortunately it flakes off almost instantly so I am unable to assess whether there are any long-term moisturising effects or not. I doubt it. I am using NailTek's Citra nail strengthener instead and that appears to perform much better.A quality product. Not sticky/ 'gloopy' like some others. Dries very quickly. It has really helped to strengthen my flaking nails.My nails do seem to have bit more strength to them polish seems to brighten the nailGreat product!Brilliant product. Have used it for years & never fails!
