HOW TO COOK BACON YOUR WAY WITH A GLASS FOOD PRESS 1. Pull bacon it out from the fridge 15 to 20 minutes before cooking. 2. Don't preheat the 12" skillet. Lay out the bacon strips without overlapping in a 12" cold pan and cover with the round bacon press. 3. Cook over medium heat — Look through the tempered glass and when ready turn the strips as needed until they reach the desired crispness, 8 to 12 minutes. 4. Drain well on a paper-towel.
