Jetboil Coffee Press Accessory - Compatible with Jetboil Stoves | Portable Coffee Maker for Camping, Hiking & Outdoor Adventures

I was a bit hesitant to try this press after reading user reviews stating that coffee grounds end up in the final product. However, my desire to have hot coffee out on the trail was overpowering so I gave it a try. I am using this press in my Jetboil Titanium Sol. I have obtained pretty much the same results after making about a dozen cups. I have never encountered a single coffee ground while drinking my fresh pressed coffee, however upon reaching the bottom of the cup there is always a fine sediment of grounds lying on the bottom of the cup. I haven't encountered any grittiness or unpleasant taste. These are not grounds in the bottom of the cup, but more like a dusty powder.The plastic rim of the press is perforated and can be slightly flared out to increase the diameter of the press so it is sure to seal against the side of the Jetboil cup when you push the screen to the bottom.In my opinion, the press works absolutely fine. Remember that we expect to compromise a bit when enjoying the luxury of hot coffee made on the trail. On the other hand, if I found sediment at the bottom of my cup after leisurely drinking a macchiato at an Italian cafe, I may have a different opinion in that scenario. If you demand perfect gourmet coffee, leave your hiking boots at home and hang out at Starbucks instead of the trail.
