Easy to useNeeded a small device to hold nails and screws for dorm room and this one did the trick.Easy for me to operate, makes me feel so much more secure when I'm trying to do little home tasks.Having grown older and with a pain disorder making my hands more useless and clumsy, I absolutely love both sizes of Safety Nailer.Without this I cannot hold small nails and am very fearful of hitting my thumb or index finger with the hammer because of the amplified pain I’ll receive. His works great! The larger one is also fantastic - especially for adding all those galvanized nails to hurricane brackets on the deck I’m building. “Would be nicer if the price came down a bit as they are a bit pricey” is what I thought right up until the first errant hammer strike that would’ve ruined my day happened. These babies saved me lots of pain. They also make nail placement more accurate once you get the hang of using them. I’ve found if I make a small indentation mark with something sharp & pointy (like a nail or center punch) to mark the exact nail location, then I can easily slide the nail into the indent when I have the safety nailer on and hammer it home. Perfectly placed (and pain free) every time!!One minor thing, I have big hands and while these fit, they are a bit snug. A larger size for larger hands would make these even better. But still they are one of the best construction gadgets I’ve ever bought!Got it for my husband for Christmas and he says he likes it.While this is a relatively unknown and even obscure "tool", it's one that deserves respect should you wish to keep your fingers safe and be more productive while working in tight quarters or with midget nails or brads. SPEND the money - no more tears...unless you lose it!This product already paid for itself. I had to rebuild a deck and used over 300 nails and using the Safety Nailer made each nail get setup and hammered into the wood faster than using fingers alone. Multiply that by 300 and it saved a lot of time.Man, does this little gadget save my fingers and my nails!! The Safety Nailer holds nails and brads straight and keeps them straight as you hammer.
