The color of the nails is just like the picture. Deep burgundy -- not red. Just what I wanted. The nails aren't too long, but I did file them down a little because I prefer a shorter nail. The nail beds are good size for average women's fingers, so I was very happy with that. I use the press-on tabs mostly for fake nails because I like to switch up weekly. The color is beautiful and the gloss is nice -- I added extra layers of high gloss top coat to give them that gel nail look. You will need to press the nails out a bit because the nail beds are little narrower than most nails (like KISS brand), but I'd rather have to do that then to deal with those big wide man-sized nails that I have to cut on the sides, file and smooth out before I can wear them.
