I’ve used this a few times and had good results. There is a bit of trial and error involved but that is just part of the art. The press is sturdy and has not warped after several uses for weeks at a time.Great productEasy instructions. Wood is light and solid.Book presses are expensive! fortunately there are less expensive options. this works pretty well for my purposes pressing a 8.5 x 5.5 inch book (printer pages folded in half). it's slightly flimsier than I'd like, and I did have to buy longer screws because the book was too thick (<600 pages), but overall great for a budget press. who has $200 for that? When it arrived, it literally just explains to lay flower down and tighten the screws... Thought it may have specific craft instructions. Not only is it pretty, its practical, lightweight and high quality. The press comes with eveything you need to start pressing your flowers right away with easy to follow instructions. I was very impressed with the quality of the blotting paper so purchased additional packs! Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in preserving flowers!Rachael???This is a lovely flower press but unfortunately the glue sandwiching the wood together seems to have failed. Consequently the press bowes and cannot pull down the centre of the wood, applying minimal pressure to the flowers. I feel this is quite an over priced item as I hoped the wood would be solid as shown in the advertising pictures but sadly feels quite cheap. It probably would have done the job if it wasn’t for the glue problem but still expensive. I don’t feel I can return this item as I’ve used the blotting paper.This is my second order of this flower press - I liked the original so much, I bought another!It's easy to use yet robust and the size is very useful. The seller followed up my order with an email and pdf of handy tips and we exchanged a few personal emails in which she offered me really good advice and help. Can't fault the product or the seller and look forward to many happy hours/days compiling my pressed flower catalogue. Highly recommended.Sturdy and easy to use. The bolts are of good quality and the wood is also thick. I've used It once and had no problems with it. Can't wait to get more flowers and press. And make more framesSo the item SEEMS to be working fine, but I’ve noticed that there is a bend in the wood when you tighten it. I know that it should have a bit of give, but the bend is giving me the impression that the clover I’ve placed inside isn’t receiving the pressure I’ve applied. As you can see from the pic I’ve added, all the pressure is in the corners. But it still did the job well!
