I thought this would go on more pink, but it goes on very sheer, but has an opalescence quality to it that I like. The opalescence, or whatever term you'd prefer, was an unexpected surprise.I have tremors, so the nice thing about it being mostly sheer is that I can be less than perfect when applying the polish (especially on my toes).If you're expecting pink, you'll be disappointed. I like to use this alone, or even as a topcoat on another color that I'd like to tone down a notch.I wasn’t so sure how it would look on my nails, but it is gorgeous even with the top coat. My nails feel so strong. Plus quick dry.It makes my nails stronger and keeps them from breaking.my wife uses it all the timeSaves my nails from breaking, best of the hardners.Excelente inversionMy nails are so soft no matter what I do. Crazy cheap price, don't know how they can ship it for what the bottle cost.I was a bit hesitant about buying this at first given some of the reviews but I needn’t have worried. I am so pleased with this, I haven’t experienced any peeling and haven’t lost any at all, it has survived hand washing, cleaning out animals, hair washing and showers. I haven’t experienced any chipping or splitting of my nails, so I am very pleased.Having used this brand for years, I'm certain this isn't Sally Hansen. The brush was frayed to bits which is annoying but not a big deal. The quality of the liquid is what lets everything down. It doesn't harden. It takes 3-4 coats to form a decent protective layer, this takes around 30 minutes to fully dry - not exaggerating. It then peels off beautifully within 1 hour. God forbid you wash your hands, it disappears. The packaging is a perfect mimic but it's not Sally Hansen.Bought this because I used it as a teen, when dinosaurs roamed the earth. It was brilliant.This time round, the varnish peels off easily in one sheet the day after I put it on (quite therapeutic, but can't be good for the nails?) and, after two months, my nails are still chipping and breaking , even further down the nail than before I started using this varnish.Has the formula changed so much over the years or, as other reviewers have suggested, was this just a bad batch? I won't be buying this varnish again.After years of using gels and acrylics my nails were basically paper thin and would break all the time. Since using this I’ve been able to grow my nails out to a decent length which I haven’t been able to do for a very long time. It dries really quickly and my nails instantly feel a lot stronger and look shiny and healthy. I use it under other sally hansen colour polishes sometimes as it makes a great base coat. Definitely recommend!!It arrived in 2 days which was great. I applied only one layer onto my nails although it says apply 2-3 coats on bare nails. I will use it as a base/top coat as well so I do not want thickness underneath nail varnish. It is rather runny so you need to be careful on your first trial as it dribbles a lot. It will get thicker in time like other varnishes. I will use it for a week to test its strengthening side as my nails peel off a lot. And it came in a protective envelope which could went through the post box which is worry free if you are not home. So far so good!edit: my nails still peel off:(
