This product is very opaque in just one coat, but I would still recommend doing two thin coats for absolute opacity. It is a bit thicker than a normal gel polish, but I didn't have any problems applying it. It stays right where you put it, so you don't need to worry about it moving around or sliding into your cuticles when doing a whole hand. The colors seem to also shift from warm and cool tones if that's a problem for some people. Love it!Polish was very thick yet was runny once on. At first I thought it was defective, until I dipped my hand into ice water and under a good light noticed it was dark purple. Then when I put them into extremely hot water they turned dark blue. The color swatch is extremely misleading. The blue definitely is not the "light blue" it claims to be. Attaching a picture of the "light blue" they claim it turns to.Great productLove this stuf!!!! Hope to own them all someday.I loved these!! I purchased them on a different website without seeing any reviews(they were on sale). The one in my pictures is the MD-48. I am so impress on how the color changes, and stays changed for a while. On initial application I was indoors and it looks dark green(my apartment is cold), I went outside on a 70deg temp(not supper hot) but my nails changed completely to a yellowish shade. I have been indoors now for over 10 minutes and the tips of my nails are changing back.Pros: Two coats application is enough to get a nice color. No strong smells during the application. Easy to clean from the nail edges. They looks extremely cool!!!Cons: The gel polish is super thick. I used 1.5 min of curing time to make sure it was completely cured before rubbing it with the cleaner.I recommend this gel polish. I bought a set of 6 colors, cant wait to try them all!!!
