Only brand I will useBeing a DIYer with my nails I was determined to be able to do this. I watched videos and tutorials for weeks. I tried the painting of the french pink and whites. I tried fake tips. I tried it all. I finally settled on this the last time I tried the pink and whites I was amazed at how much it turned out like it was done in a salon. I did the reverse pink and white method. I prepped my nails, used dehydrator, bonder and base coat then put the IBD pink on. This is a thicker gell so you have time to work with it before it runs all over. It is self leveling so that is a bonus. After I put the pink on, I used my efile and cut out the smile line. I know it sounds like a lot of extra work but it is worth it. Then I used the IBD white on the tip. I shaped the nails and buffed the top until the overlapping white gell was level with the pink and the result is absolutely beautiful smile lines. I use all IBD products and have not had any problems lifting. I have had these nails on for about 3 weeks and am so happy not to spend $40 at the salon just for a fill. If you practice and have patience this can work wonders!Terrific supplier, and it's so nice to get fresh product. Buying it from local beauty supply stores is always iffy and usually you get product so old you can hardly even get your brush into it. Only negative with this supplier is the inaccurate retail price of $97.90 (when they sell 1/2 an ounce for $11 (x 4 do the math). Still, it's a deal at $29.99 plus shipping and better quality than local.Love IBD - has saved me hundreds of dollars a year over going to a manicurist, and there are only a couple of people in Denver who do the true gel uv nails, so it's hard to coordinate appointments. Most are the fast-nail places that do powder gels. I learned how by watching YouTube tutorials!Thanks Beautyland!I have purchased the clear and soft pink and had no issues with those. The white one, however, would not dry at all! It's very frustrating because I followed instructions exactly as it says on the label and still doesn't dry. Even gave it extra time on the LED lamp and nothing.Asking for a refund for the white gel. :/So I received this product today. I also did a full set with nail forms. It was perfect. The color is true to color. It's like having the pretty pink acrylic powder they you may see all over Instagram without having that horrible smell. The consistency is like a can of sweetened condensed milk watered down some. It took 3 minutes for it to cure in a UV lamp. This will surely be a continuous buy. I am amazed. Not happy with how long it took with shipping but it wasn't because of the seller.White generally takes longer to cure - usually 4 minutes verses 3, but not 9 - 12 minutes. I have to put on a very thin layer and place under 36 watt lamp for 9 minutes (3 cycles of 3 minutes), then add an additional layer to have even coverage and yet an additional 9 minutes under the lamp. Although I've done my own nails for years, I am not a professional. Using this product takes twice as long to complete.THIS PRODUCT IS SOOOOO THICK I HAD TO PUT MY CLIENTS NAILS UNDER THE LIGHT MAYBE 6 TIMES JUST TO DRY. IDK WHAT I MAY HAVE DONE WRONG BUT ITS REALLY THICK AND HARD TO WORK WITH. INSTEAD OF FRENCH TIP I ENEDED UP DOIN A MARBLE DESIGN...ThankyouThis stuff works great .
