I wanted to write a review of this polish since I rely heavily on reviews before purchasing polishes in order to determine what "color" they really are to the user. This is a very nice deep color. Since applying, I have been constantly looking at my nails to decide on how best to describe this color, and I think the best way is: Chocolate Cherry. It is a medium to dark brown, but with a hint of reddish purple. I like the color a lot, as I am not into too "trendy" colors, and this is not too dark to appear vampy, but still is fashionable. I would think that this color on top of a red or purple would lighten it up more if you find it too dark. I think that the color on the bottle is an accurate display of true color as well.Thank you to all of you who write reviews best describing the true colors of polishes-I appreciate it!
