I'm new to gel nail polish so at first I thought it was user error, but I've come to the conclusion that no, the bottle is just THAT BAD.My process, in steps:1. Apply polish straight from bottle, wonder why it's streaky/patchy/otherwise not great. Blame product.2. Read up, learn that gel polish (especially dark colors) should be SHAKEN before application. Try it, immediately noticeable difference. Best results when freshly shaken, so I plan to shake before painting every nail. (i.e. shake bottle, polish one nail, shake bottle again, etc.).And now begins the problem.3. No matter how tightly capped, this bottle seems to ALWAYS get polish up in the handle and subsequently the neck. This means shaking the bottle becomes disastrously messy, and I need to clean it every. time. The excess also prevents the bottle from closing correctly. All of this means a LOT of wasted product on top of the annoyance of having to clean it up.4. Get so frustrated by poor bottle design/choice that I post this review.I have since transferred some to a dinky little 5mL polish bottle and even that one seals better at the top/neck.Did I save money on this gel polish compared to other brands? Yes, and for that I gave it some consideration and didn't rate one star.Did the polish perform as it should? As far as I can tell, also yes, when used properly (shaken).Did the bottle ruin the other good aspects of this polish? Yes, yes it did.I wanted to write a review of this polish since I rely heavily on reviews before purchasing polishes in order to determine what "color" they really are to the user. This is a very nice deep color. Since applying, I have been constantly looking at my nails to decide on how best to describe this color, and I think the best way is: Chocolate Cherry. It is a medium to dark brown, but with a hint of reddish purple. I like the color a lot, as I am not into too "trendy" colors, and this is not too dark to appear vampy, but still is fashionable. I would think that this color on top of a red or purple would lighten it up more if you find it too dark. I think that the color on the bottle is an accurate display of true color as well.Thank you to all of you who write reviews best describing the true colors of polishes-I appreciate it!I've been looking for a nude nail polish that isn't see through, you know the color - the one that all of the celebrities wear and it makes their hands look super tan. This nail polish is the closest I've come to finding that nail color. However, I had to put 4 coats on to get that effect. With just a couple of coats it is still see through and you can see the nail. With gel that means the polish is on pretty thick so you have to be okay with that. Fortunately applying gel polish is a lot easier than regular polish since it dries right away so I don't mind putting all of those coats on. Happy painting! Let me know if you find something better!Love this polish, it is sort of a gray/purple/brown/clay color. Hard to describe but looks awesome on! The quality is awesome too, I have tried CND and Harmony brands and Progel is my favorite for sure! First coat looks funny, thin, but the second coat smooths it all out. If you really want to do a third, you could do that too.This nail polish is likely to be used for the tips of a French Manicure. I'd intended to use it for regular nail polish. It is very, very white and very thick. It does not flow evenly and would need several coats for complete coverage. It would be ideal for a French Manicure, but not a good polish for an all over coating.I do like ProGel products and have had excellent results with my home application of nail gel. This polish just isn't what I expected and that isn't the fault of the polish. I had an inaccurate expectation of this particular color.Super cute color, but it takes a lot of coats to get there.The product is good, but there is nothing silver about it. This is more of a pearl white color than silver. Good product, but the name is misleading as far as the color goes.I have purchased the Paris Rose color twice before this purchase from two other retailers. The one from this vender is most definitely not Paris Rose! It is an orangey-beige color. Yuck! Not sure if it was old or a knock-off product. Other than the color being wrong I like the Supernail Progel polishes. Just won't be purchasing from this vender anymore.I love this colour. Thank you ..The goods are well packed. Quality class!
