Although, the device works great, the barrel seems to be too small for it runs out the dough too quickly!Excellent ProductThis was my first time using a cookie press and it was not easy to use. The easiest part was squeezing the handle to get the right amount of dough out. That being said, getting the cookie to stick to the cookie sheet was hit or miss, and I tried with several discs. 75% of the time, I would have to tap the top of the plunger or bang the press into the cookie sheet to get the cookie dough out. Maybe it was my cookie sheet that was the problem. The most frustrating experience for me was that the discs don't fit snuggly to the bottom of the press. I tried for several minutes to see if I was doing something wrong, but finally I just had to get it close to fitting and screw the tube on with the disc facing down so it wouldn't move.The good news is that the cookies turned out great using the basic recipe on the pamphlet. The dough consistency made it super easy! Maybe folks that had trouble getting the dough through needed to beat the butter and sugar to a fluffier consistency, which was mentioned in the instructions. The packaging design would make it giftable, but make sure you provide a gift receipt, because the beginning was stressful!This worked well for me 2 or 3 timesThis Cookie Press is easy to clean, and easy to use. It makes cookies in several shapes and you can purchase other shapes. I have gifted this to my daughter-in-law and my granddaughter. They have been very happy with it!The kids using it loved it! With help, easy for 9 year olds on up to use. I pre made the cookie dough for them.I think young cooks would love this gift, then there’s the cookie reward in the end!I'm so glad I didn't pay attention to the reviews. It does take a bit of practice to understand how to use the cookie press but once you learn it's so easy. I didn't use the recipe that comes with the cookie press, instead I used the one from Sally's Baking Addiction because I was already baking when I saw the little recipe book that comes with it. Cleaning it's easy because you can remove all the parts. I ordered it late September and today is November 30th, all I can say is that it's very easy to bake perfectly shaped and buttery cookies and I have used it many times. The picture I included is of my first time using the cookie press, after the third cookie you get how to use it.Making cookies, works wellNot easy to use, I’ve watched endless videos on using the Wilton pro and spritz cookie recipes trying to get this to work…. but it’s not happening! It looks fairly easy! I made the dough, consistency looked right - then came the pressing into shape - the dough just doesn’t stick to the surface, I’ve tried several different surfaces but cannot get the cookie to release from the dispenser and stick to the baking tray!The issue maybe converting the recipe from from cups to grams. Great idea, quality of the product is good and wonderful if it works for you - but I’m giving it a generous 3 stars for being a great concept.Wir haben bereits die 2. Der Teig muss innerhalb eines Zylinders durchgepresst werden und trifft somit auf (früher Plastik - jetzt dünnes Blech) Formen. welche dann den Teig zum wirklich sehr schönen Keksen spritzen.Problem hierbei ist nur, dass der auszuübende Druck relativ groß ist und der Pressmechanismus wieder zurückgezogen werden muss, um neuen Teig einfüllen zu können.Die Materialauswahl bei diesem Gerät ist schlecht. Auf eine Stahlpresse setzt man keinen Kunststoffknopf . Dieser löstsich nach kurzer Zeit und dann beginnen weitere Probleme, welche das Arbeiten mit diesem Tool unmöglich machen.Fazit :Die Idee ist super ! Die Qualität des Tools ist jedoch schlecht !Wir haben dieses Tool bei Amazon gekauft und es wurde von einer Berliner Firma geliefert. HEute zeigt sich die Reklamationsbearbeitung echt schwierig, daher werfen wir das Tool nun weg und ärgern uns über den Verlust von 25,- EUR. Man lernt nie aus !Opened, washed and followed the recipe for savoury biscuits. The lever would not align on the arrow, first of all. Then we we aligned it for it to click in, the plastic lever broke on the 3 biscuit. Very disappointed.I like it , it s fantastic. Easy to use and good quality. I recomanded!Real easy to use with so many different patents, all of which look great.
