This is not what I expected at all – going off the photograph on this webpage I thought it would be a sold grey/silver with speckles of glitter in it. Believe me, it's absolutely nothing like that photo; it's actually a clear base with little coloured flecks of “mirror” strips. It's easy enough to apply – I put it on over clean “naked” nails and it needed two coats before any sort of effect was seen; it then felt really rough, so I put a coat of clear varnish over it. It still feels rough.I'd love to know what the "Fibre Optic effect" is. My photo hopefully shows what it's really like; I took them in daylight against both a dark and light background.The sale price (£2.93 at time of writing) is all I would pay, and had I see this for real beforehand, I wouldn't have bought it even at that price. Needless to say I wouldn't eve consider the full retail price.
